The Anglican Mission in England (AMiE) is a network of Anglican churches whose priority is church planting. We are an Anglican mission society that seeks to spread the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, principally in England. We are committed to supporting Anglican churches and individuals, both outside and within the present structures of the Church of England.
In addition to the growing number of AMiE churches who are connected together and are blessed by the episcopal care of our Bishops, we also enjoy gospel fellowship with many other Anglican churches who support our mission prayerfully and financially.
AMiE came into being as a result of GAFCON and is one of a number of agencies that is connected to GAFCON UK. You can read more about the history of AMiE by clicking here.
AMiE is a registered charity (number 1158679) and has a Board and an Executive Team. Lee McMunn is the Mission Director of AMiE and Andy Lines is Chair of the Board. AMiE, alongside Church Society, co-sponsor the annual ReNew conference. AMiE is committed to the ReNew vision of pioneering, establishing and securing a nation of healthy local Anglican churches.
